Ambassador Terms

Ambassador Terms
Version 1.1 — 20. September 2026

These terms govern the Earthchild Ambassador programme. Please read them before you apply. By ticking the box on the signup form you are agreeing to them.

1. Parties

The Ambassador programme has two parts, run by two different organisations. You sign up once and see a single balance, but each organisation is responsible only for its own part.

Earthchild Ambassador — raising gifts for children through the Earthchild gift catalogue — is operated by PEACE 2000 UK Ltd (company number 04300266, registered office 132 Burnt Ash Road, Lee, London SE12 8PU, England), a subsidiary of the Peace 2000 Institute (“we”, “us”). Commission on gift purchases is paid by that subsidiary, or by another designated entity in the Peace 2000 Network as appropriate from time to time. Whichever entity makes the payment, PEACE 2000 UK Ltd remains responsible to you for it.

Ambassador Diamonds — promoting the products sold at Vallo Diamonds — is operated by Vallopak OÜ (registry code 17091716, registered office Sakala tn 7-2, Kesklinna linnaosa, 10141 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia) in cooperation with Peace 2000. Commission on diamond sales is a commercial arrangement owed and paid by Vallopak OÜ.

Where these terms say “we”, it means whichever of the two organisations is responsible for the part being described. Neither is responsible for the other’s obligations to you.

2. What the programme is

As an ambassador you receive a personal link. When someone buys a gift through your link, you earn a commission on what they give. You can keep that commission, give it back to the campaign, or take it as credit at Vallo Diamonds.

Being an ambassador does not make you an employee, agent, partner or representative of ours. You are not authorised to speak on our behalf, to make commitments in our name, or to describe yourself as working for us.

3. Becoming an ambassador

You must be 18 or over. You must give accurate information when you apply, and keep it up to date. One person may hold one ambassador account.

We review every application and may decline one without giving a reason. Approval is at our discretion — we are a children’s charity, and we choose carefully who fundraises in our name.

4. Your link and how we attribute

Your personal link carries a handle you choose at signup. It cannot be changed afterwards, because changing it would break every link you have already shared.

A gift is attributed to you when the purchase is made through your link. Attribution depends on the donor’s browser accepting cookies and completing the purchase in the same session. We attribute in good faith using the records our systems produce, and those records are what determine commission.

5. What you earn

You earn 10% of the gift value of each gift purchased through your link — the catalogue price of the gift itself. Commission is not paid on payment processing fees, nor on any amount a donor chooses to add to cover those fees.

Commission is earned when the payment is successfully taken — not when the gift is added to a basket, and not if the payment fails. If a donation is later refunded or charged back, the commission on it is reversed. If it has already been paid to you, we may deduct it from your next payment.

For recurring donations, commission is paid on the first payment only.

6. Ambassador Diamonds

Ambassador Diamonds is the commercial side of the programme. You promote products sold at Vallo Diamonds, and you earn 10% of the value of purchases made through your link. This is a commercial arrangement with Vallopak OÜ, not a charitable one, and it is separate from the sales agent programme Vallo Diamonds runs for its commercial representatives — you are not a sales agent and you are not authorised to negotiate, quote or contract on behalf of Vallopak OÜ.

Commission on diamond sales is earned when the order is paid for and is reversed if the order is cancelled, refunded or returned. Everything in sections 8 to 11 about payment, tax, conduct and removal applies to Ambassador Diamonds in the same way, with Vallopak OÜ in place of PEACE 2000 UK Ltd.

Taking part in Ambassador Diamonds is optional. You can raise gifts for children without ever promoting a diamond.

7. How you get paid

You choose one of three options, and you can change it at any time:

  • Bank transfer. We pay your commission to your bank account.
  • Give it back. Your commission goes to the campaign as an additional gift.
  • Vallo Diamonds credit. You take your commission as credit at Vallo Diamonds, worth 15% instead of 10%. Credit is issued as a code, is valid for 12 months from the date it is issued, and has no cash value.

Payments are made monthly, within 30 days of the end of the month once your balance reaches EUR 50. Below that threshold your balance rolls over. We pay in euros. Where your bank is outside the SEPA area, any transfer or intermediary bank charges are deducted from the payment.

We will ask for your payment details only once you have commission to be paid. We do not collect bank details at signup.

8. Tax

Commission is your income. You are responsible for declaring it and for paying any tax or social contributions due in the country where you live. We do not withhold tax on your behalf and we cannot advise you on your tax position.

9. What you may not do

You may not:

  • buy gifts through your own link, or arrange for others to do so on your behalf, in order to generate commission;
  • send unsolicited bulk messages, or post your link where it is not welcome;
  • bid on our name or our campaign names in paid search advertising;
  • make claims about our work, our finances, or where gifts go that we have not published;
  • imply that you speak for us, or that we endorse anything else you sell or promote;
  • present your link as an official Earthchild or Peace 2000 channel, or set up accounts, pages or sites that could be mistaken for ours;
  • use our name or materials in any context that would embarrass a children’s charity.

10. Suspension, removal and withheld commission

We may suspend or close an ambassador account, and withhold or cancel unpaid commission, where we reasonably believe that commission has been generated through self-referral or other manipulation, that these terms have been broken, or that the conduct involved would damage our reputation or the interests of the children we work for.

Where we do this we will tell you why, and you can ask us to look again.

11. Ending it

You can leave at any time by telling us. We can end this agreement at any time by telling you. If we end it for a reason other than those in section 10, we pay you any commission you have properly earned.

Your link stops working when your account closes.

12. Your information

We collect what you give us at signup, together with the records of gifts attributed to your link, in order to run the programme and pay you. We keep it for as long as you are an ambassador and for as long afterwards as our accounting and reporting obligations require. Our Privacy Policy explains your rights over that information and how to exercise them.

If you ask us to delete your information, we can remove your profile, but we must keep the financial records of commission paid to you.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. We will tell ambassadors by email before any change that affects what you earn or how you are paid, and the version number above will change. Continuing as an ambassador after that means you accept the new version.

14. If something goes wrong

If you are unhappy with a decision we have made — about your account, your commission or a payment — tell us through our contact form and say what you would like us to do about it. Someone who was not involved in the original decision will look at it, and we will reply within 14 days.

We would much rather sort a problem out this way than have either of us go to court, and most things can be.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.

16. Getting in touch

Use our contact form. It reaches the right people and gives us a record of your message, so nothing gets lost.
